Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
Palynn (“we”, “us”) helps people find out whether an idea they’ve been sitting on is for them. This policy explains what we collect when you use palynn.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Plain version: we only collect what we need to run the waitlist and the beta, we don’t sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Waitlist sign-ups: your email address, and, if you choose to share them, your name, your city and the idea you’ve been thinking about.
- Beta Reality Checks (palynn.com/try): what you type into the form, such as your idea, city, free time, budget, job and schedule, age, experience, constraints and how serious you are. Only the idea and city are required.
- Beta feedback: your comments, your answers to questions like “Would you actually do this?”, and a name or email if you choose to leave one, along with the idea, city and plan they relate to.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use IP addresses briefly to stop the beta from being overused.
Please don’t include sensitive details you don’t want to share, such as health information or anything about other people, in the free-text boxes.
How we use it
- To tell you when Palynn is ready and when there’s something to try in your city.
- To create your Reality Check, first move and four-week plan.
- To understand what’s working and improve Palynn, using your feedback and usage.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Palynn:
- Anthropic provides the AI (Claude) that writes your Reality Check. What you enter on the beta form is sent to Anthropic to generate your plan, under Anthropic’s privacy policy.
- Formspree receives waitlist sign-ups and beta feedback and delivers them to us by email (Formspree privacy policy).
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps short-term server logs, which can include the idea and city from a beta request (Vercel privacy notice).
- Open-Meteo receives the name of your city so we can include the weather forecast in your plan. Nothing else is sent (Open-Meteo terms).
To find real local options, Palynn searches the public web. Searches are about places and activities in your city, not about you. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and storage
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The beta page remembers the access code you enter in your own browser, so you don’t need to type it again.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist sign-ups and feedback until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them for Palynn. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider. Our providers keep data according to their own policies, linked above.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to take you off the waitlist, at any time by emailing hello@palynn.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy law; we’ll honour requests made under them.
Age
Palynn is for adults. Please don’t use it if you’re under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll let people on the waitlist know.
